WHAT IS SPLITIT?
Splitit allows you to pay for your purchases in interest-free monthly instalments. Choose to split your payments over three months, using a Visa or Mastercard credit card.
At checkout you will be given the option to pay in full, or start an instalment payment plan that works for you.
HOW DOES SPLITIT WORK?
- At the time of purchase, your card will only be charged for the 1st month’s instalment. The remaining amount will be held from your credit card available balance until the final payment is made.
- The total amount will be reserved on your credit card to ensure payment. After each monthly payment, the amount reserved from your available balance will be reduced to the new remaining balance.
- The credit card bill will only show the monthly payment, the remaining amount on hold will not show up as a debt.
- Splitit only works with Visa and Mastercard credit cards, unfortunately American Express and debit cards will not be accepted.
